I've got GWAR blood stains everywhere..."for teh win!"
After years of waiting, I finally got to see them again. We drove two hours to Cain's Ballroom and the scene is a lot better than in Lawrence. Always the scene kiddies, though.
The drinks were way too expensive, the set was way too short, the sound was horrible, but it was a pretty decent show. They played a lot of what I was expecting and wanted them to play, like "Immortal Corruptor," "Bring Back the Bomb," and anything from Scumdogs. Executions were a cop getting skewered (get it?!?! HAHAHAA.....), a GWAR fanboy disemboweled and decapitated, Bush of course, and the Pope, who's been getting executed for years. Oh yeah, and GOR-GOR! I couldn't tell if they played "Gor-Gor" or "Crack in the Egg" while they killed him, but it was awesome.
I was in the Slave Pit the whole time getting bloody and my friend really didn't want to because he doesn't have the GWAR spirit, but he got his in the end 'cause some girl randomly punched him in the neck. Sucker.
