A good weekend, mostly...
Well, for the most part it was a good weekend. I went back to Oakville Friday evening to DJ Theatre Sheridan's opening party for their productions of; "Company" and "A tribute to Rogers & Hart". The party went alright. I haven't DJed in a while, let alone a top 40 style event. My digital catalogue was 3 months out of date, so it was impossible to find anything. Not to mention I was very unprepared. I return next weekend to DJ the closing party, but I will be prepared for that one!
The after party was pretty good, I ended up crashing at about 5:30A at my friends' place where the after party was at. I was lucky and didn't pay for any booze all night. I kept telling people that I would garantee their song played if they brought me a drink, and so that helped my cause greatly! I am gonna have to do that more often! My buddy's bday was last night... it was a bust, which is a real shame cause he is an awesome guy. He said that he enjoyed it cause it was a little more chill and intimate, but I could still sense a little disappointment of some people not showing up.
It's almost 10A, I am back in Toronto now. Tonite I might be hanging out with Martini (hopefully, but doubtfully) and soon we are gonna shoot a set for her. There is a hug pillow fight at Dundas Square today at 2P... I don't think that I am gonna go, my throat hurts and I am tired (probably gonna nap this afternoon). Other wise life is 'meh'. I am still lonely and slightly depressed. This week is going to be busy with crap work, so at I least I have THAT to look forward to.
I just want a vacation, go back home and visit my family for a week and just forget about life. Enjoy old friends and home cooked meals. I miss my family, I miss a lot of stuff... including my exgf... it's been over a fucking year!!
