Time for an update!
So I have had the tongue ring for damn near 72 hours now, and I love it. I keep playing with it, so needless to say I cause it to swell up sometimes. Otherwise, it's great! My camonmile tea ice cubes have been the greatest thing ever these past few days. I suck on about 6 each morning and about 4 each night, and the swelling and soreness just goes right away (being as it is usually only sore and swollen in the morning and at night). I am getting used to talking with it swollen, and if I articulate enough, you can't even tell it's swollen, but it hurts to articulate, lol!
Last night was my first time ever going to an SG Karaoke night, and it was awesome! It's so great to finally put a face to... the... face? lol! Well you know what I mean, it's great to meet those who you are chatting with online! I arrived with Martini righ around the beginning and there were so many other great people there that I loved meeting and hanging out with, even though I was so quiet (sorry, I get shy around new people, that and my tongue was a little swollen and sore by the time I got there). I ended up leaving with telegraph cause he happened to be heading the same way I was (for the most part) and he's a really cool guy too!
As for the rest of you all; Lisseth, you sang damn good girl! Great job on the Britney Spears, lol! Swindy, it was nice meeting you... even though we didn't get to talk much. Elana, great job on Sabotage... no one knew the words, and they were a little odd... lol, you did good though! Pharcyde, crazy scar on your tongue man... good thing you didn't at least feel that one! Anyone that I have forgotten, I am so sorry! It's probably that I didn't really get a chance to meet you, or rather that I didn't know your SG name, lol! And if I screwed up your name on here, I AM SO SORRY! lol... I can be a bit of a tool everyonce and a while, but then again, who isn't!?
This week is going to boring. I am only working 3 shifts... Wednesday I am working a concert (The Roots) Friday I am working a D&B/Jungle event (Fully Blazed) and Sunday I am working some corporate that has me at the club for 8AM! Ok, anything outside of the hours of Noon to 6A, don't exist to me! lol...
So if anyone is bored too this week and wants to help me occupy time! Just let me know... my roomie is a work most of the week, so I have the apartment to myself for movie days or whatever... and I also have to take a trip down Queen St. again soon, who wants to join?
