Yeah for the most part the Oscars are nothing more than a Hollywood circle jerk but they can also determine what kind of movie studios decide to make in the next year and who to put in them.
I just know how hard it is to make a really good movie, so I would like to see the talented people who actually pull it off get the accolades they deserve.
