Wow has it really been more than a month since I updated? Believe me when I tell you that things have been hectic to say the least.
I have been crazy busy at work (which is a good thing) so the time I normally spend on SG has been spent actually doing some productive work. As you all may or may not know I work on a site called LiveMansion.com. On LiveMansion we are currently casting and choosing a director for a feature film that will begin production this summer...the catch of it all is that the online community gets to decide who gets cast in the roles and who gets to direct the project. Basically its "Project Greenlight" meets "Americal Idol" minus all the normal trappings of bad reality TV. A little over a month ago the 3 finalists for each role were flown to NYC to shoot their final audition scenes which I coordinated. We also gave the 5 director finalists $1,000 to shoot their own final submission.
The Directors were critiqued at a live screening by Spike Lee and the actors by John Leguizamo. It has been awesome working with these people. Spike Lee has even agreed to come on as a consultant to the company and will Exec Produce some of our film projects....very exciting.

I don't know how I feel about the new design that launched today. Is it just my computer or does this stuff take longer to load? To be fair I am not going to make any judgements about the changes till I have more time to get used to everything. Everyone at SG has done a good enough job that I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
