I was bummed going into this weekend knowing I wasn't going down to Philly for the convention.
Sounds like everyone had a fantastic time, Im sorry I missed it.

But I got a raise on Friday so that pretty much balanced everything out!! I was pumped not just because of the jingle jangle of some extra coin in my pocket, but because my boss gave it to me for kicking ass at work. It is always nice to get some appreciation for what you have accomplished, especially when it comes from a group of people who normally are pretty shitty at that sort of thing. I feel pretty good about myself.

Super Bowl game was pretty lame, the obvious highlight of the night was Prince. He was awesome, playing some of his big hits and some FANTASTIC covers. Proud Mary, Best of You, All Along the Watchtower. SWEETNESS

Best commercial of the night, either the "Rock, Paper, Scissor" or "Dog Becomes Dalmatian".

I also had some closure to a situation I was having with my best friend. Things have been very strained lately and I've been upset about it, but at the same time trying to give her space to work out her own things that were getting in the way. We talked last night and resolved some shit and things seem like they are going to be OK, which is fantastic because I don't know what I'd do without her.
