Ray Richmond from The Hollywood Reporter reports that NBC has decided to pick up the rest of the season of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. He has the press release on his blog (Click Here)

It makes me happy to see that not everyone at the networks only watch ratings when making decisions about shows. Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme continue to be two of if not the smartest executive producers in television. Hopefully Sorkin can use these nine episodes to hit his stride and take this show and make it gold like I know he can. Last week's part 1 episode certainly was a good step in the right direction.

If you are not watching this show you should be.

And if you are not familiar with Sorkin's work, watch the first few seasons of The West Wing and the whole run of Sports Night.

While I am on the subject of TV suggestions I will throw these out there as well...The Wire is one of the best police dramas on TV and it has now evolved into a great social commentary.

Weeds has also caught my attention now that I have Showtime, it's just fun to watch (I doesn't hurt that I LOVE Mary-Luis Parker).
