amazing how good lost in translation captures the oddness of Japan. it is really cool here though. good people, interesting food that plays with you, crazy fun bars, and neato tech shit.
it's kinda like when i was growing up back in Miami. it seems almost like another world. movie stars, spectacular looking people, bars that don't close, and I don't understand a damn thing anyone tells me. but it's fun!
the Cherry Blossom festival is coming up, it's a real big deal over here. i'm planning on attending to check it out.
should be enlightening.

the flowers are so beautiful on the trees... and the way they plant them so when u come down the street its just beautiful pinkness all the way thro...
make sure u dont miss it cuz when they are in bloom it only lasts a short time... thats the reason for the big to do.. its a once a year thing for maybe 2 weeks at the most then the delicate flowers juss seem to disappear... they all fall/get blown off the trees due to the spring winds.
