Made a roadtrip to Cluj today on my day off. Picked up my first pair of chuck taylor's today. Finally decided it was time to start changing up the shoes a bit. got a pair of DC shoes a week ago when I went there last time. Prices are a helluva lot better than what I'd be normally paying in Germany and I think they are on par or cheaper than back in the states. 3-1 for the Lei vs Dollar so I'm making out pretty good here. Considering I can get a large pizza and a pepsi for $5 is pretty freakin awesome. And the food is amazing here. The KFC in the mall is prolly the best KFC I've been to. No biscuits tho and I think they are using McDonalds fries but I'm ok with that lol. Also saw the new Pirates movie today. The 3D was terrible in it compared to the new Transformers. But I enjoyed it more than the 3rd Pirates film. Other than that a pretty boring day off though.

Finally caught up on sleep after getting about 5 hours worth in a 48 hour time span. Went to the range here and saw some A-10's shoot some 30mm. Pretty neat. Got some good pics and some terrible videos. Could not see worth a damn. when it came time to take video. Did get a good video of the search and rescue portion. Just looking forward to what will be my last week that I have time to do something here in Romania. I wana go back to this pretty sweet underground bar. This TDY hasn't been too bad except for the work portion which I knew I'd be getting screwed on. Comes with the territory I guess. How's everyone else doing?
