Let's talk about telemarketing.

It has got to be the gutter of all low paying jobs. You get more crap from people than you are cleaning toilets in a restaurant restroom.

I applied for a job last week thinking all I was going to do was setting appointments by phone and instead I become the annoying salesman that calls you during a crucial time like having lunch or working at an espresso stand making hot cups of latte for people.

The supervisor at my job says this is not telemarketing but let's call a spade a spade. All I am doing is selling a service for people, in this case credit card machines, who are more likely not going to be interested or tell you to simply fuck off.

I think I made a big mistake.
