Ever get the feeling you were born in the wrong decade?
I sometimes do. I almost convinced that I should have been born 30 years earlier than 1968. I think I could have had a ball with the cocktail set. Swingin', three-button suits, martini shaken not stirred, the Rat Pack, and the whole Sean Connery- James Bond thing. Yeah. You can still do all of the stuff now but it's not the same. I feel like being born on the tail end of the 60's is like oversleeping while a party is going on and you missed it. And you cannot get those hours back.
The period of the late 50's to the mid 60's was totally cool!

funny. my place doesnt allow pets either and i have fish, two cats, a ferret and a hampster. hmm.
As soon as I work in a library I'll tell you how cool it is. Actually, I have worked in a library, but more back-end, information analysis thing than tradional librarian work.
