Well, Ive had a good last couple of days.
Last night, I headed down to Melrose to meet up with EricAllen and bpd before we were going to see a show. I had never really been down the Melrose area before, and Id have to say seemed like a cool place. We saw some chick from that American Idol tv show walking down the street on our way to get some supper, she was hot. After eating we headed to the a club on highland to see Trainwreck play. Kyle from Tenacious D is in the band, and they were funny as hell. Jack Black was in the audience as was, we thought, a girl from that Sorority Girls show on MTV. Then we headed out to see the movie Signs. A kick ass movie. It kind of slowly draws you into the story/action and really grabs you tight. It manages to be suspenseful without really showing you that much, old skool style.
Today, EricAllen and I headed out on a mini road trip down to San Diego to check out the Comic Con show. Once we were down there, Eric managed to wrangle up a couple of passes for us so we didnt have to pay and we didnt have to wait in the two hour line to get in. Im not really a big comic book person, but I mostly went down to see Jason Lee and Kevin Smith. Well, Kevin Smith wasnt there and the line to get an autograph from Jason Lee was insanely long so we skipped out on that. But I didnt really care that much about that, it was cool to go to the show having never gone before and I did get a C.L.I.T. (Coalition for the Liberation of Itinerant Tree-dwellers) t-shirt from the ViewAskew booth. Id have to say there were a lot of very interesting people that go to a show like this and also, a surprisingly large amount of hot tattooed girls.
Oh well, tomorrow I have to work a little bit and hopefully have enough time to check out the surf contest in Huntington beach so I best be getting to sleep soon,
