A good friend of mine drags me to movies that his wife wishes to avoid. This usually works out well but there has been a disappointment or two. This last one reset the goalposts rather nicely, so mediocrity has moved a bit up the bell curve toward excellence now. At least you warned me that No Country carries no guarantee either. Such a pity.

I'm beginning to think I won't have a social life without actually leaving the apartment. That's quite a lot of bother but it may have to come to that. Perhaps I have some residual reluctance left over from my wonderfully attentive stalker about three years back.
