Didn't go to the beach party... Went to see Better Than Ezra (who I never really liked).... They fucking rocked the house, dude. I've a totally newfound respect for them. Never knew how many songs of theirs I knew - thought they were playing cover tunes of "cool" bands the entire time. They've a shit ton of songs you know - but don't know it's them... Pretty fun time. They even let a little kid (fucking child guitar prodigy) come on stage and play with them - and it WASN'T pre-staged... I talked to the kid backstage and he had never met the guys before and was scared shitless, but he totally rocked one of their songs and didn't miss a beat. Had the crowd in awe... Made me feel like a turd for never expanding on my musical (or lack thereof) talent. Think I'm going to buy an acoustic guitar tomorrow...

Getting a bit of a late start around here... I'm so hungover, I think I prayed for death around 9 am... The girls brother tried to poison me - free drinks all night.
Anyway, it's 11 and I'm about to jump in the shower and scrub my grill. The Diet Dr. Pepper is working wonders right now. I should be out of here in the next hour, that puts me there - hey, that puts me there just about Happy Hour. Coincedence? I think not.

as per SOP, craziness around here... Yesterday was a fucking RIOT! Complete with phone numbers, sleep-overs, and unauthorized absences from work - it made for a long Monday.
I have a four day weekend coming up. Thinking if you have to work on Thursday and Friday, I'll just cruise up Saturday afternoon. Lemme know what's up..

Making preperations for my best mates bachelor party, as I am the best man. Think I'm gonna take him to Vegas. You are "officially" invited.... He said so.
Last night we got all tanked up downtown... Met some cops that are friends of my best friend - they were actually cool. We were walking on the street with drinks in hand - a big no no, and they were cool with it. The one guy had a ppin on his uniform that looked EXACTLY like a trident except for the anchor was replaced by a knife... Said it was a SWAT pin... I laughed and told him what a fucking rip-off it was... He took it well, and laughed and said he knew so, but admitted that it was much smaller than a trident. Then we both laughed..

Between now and when I leave I have much to catch up on. I have a few jobs here and other loose ends..and once again I have procrastinated to the point of panic. So one less distraction will be a good thing. It still hasn't fully hit me yet..that I won't be here anymore or even in this country..I better stock up on xanax.

ps. maybe when I get back from Belgium I will be back on SG or if I end up going back and staying. We'll see.
