Cold is just about gone and the weather is finally picking up. Of course I have to go to work in a couple of hours but I guess that's how it goes.
Sometimes I'm a bit concerned that I am a bad influence on people I work and hang out with. A couple of the younger guys I work with, one in particular seems to be picking up my mannerisms and habits. Guess nothing I can do about it. I'm not going to tell someone how to be.
I guess it's funny how we affect those around us just by our normal routine.
Time to lay by the pool before I go into work.

I thought I was being rather clever. Took me hours to write that and it'll probably receive no more attention than it has already. Oh well, did it mostly for my own amusement, and I am quite proud of the outcome - really didn't expect it to turn out that well, honestly, but I just kept going and going. Couldn't bear to alter the last lines of the original - it was far too perfect.
Hope all is well in DC, I'm home for the weekend and staying at my sisters place in North Chuck - not bad at all... A little far from the action downtown, but nothing too bad. Tomorrow I go back home and the next day I leave again for work, as per SOP, then I come home then I leave again.... Tis a wonder why I pay rent. My furniture lives a much better existence than I could fathom.
I'll call you tomorrow, as I am sure I will be bored shitless during my 7 hour drive home - foretold is forewarned - answer the phone with extreme discretion....
