a spider bit me on friday night while i was sleeping. the pinprick woke me up: i turned on the light, and watched the angry red braille raise on the web of my left hand. katie had the spider, but let it go. it vanished into the heat vent. over the last few days the bumps have turned purple and pink - they are quite beautiful.
saturday was boxing day. i think i've fetishized the taste of my own blood. that's supposed to be disturbing, right? it's not.
