i have no business updating right now, since i have many many pressing things on my back. here i am anyway. 's ok, since i am about to go on sabbatical.

things that need doing:
- old debts to the alma mater
- so i can rack up new debts with another school
- ministering to my cat (fresh from the vet)
- hummus eatin'
- list makin'

i started running this week. i feel like i have gasoline in my lungs.

i am obsessed with bombardier's remix of pinkfloyd's "welcome to the machine" - so obsessed, in fact, that i'm buying the 12inch even though i haven't had a turntable since i left tucson ages and ages ago.

i am listening to a lot of bleak/angry music these days. spring must be here.

i should go answer email.

I find that I am strangely obsessed with the sounds of Krishna Das leading kirtan this spring. (It may be driving the people downstairs crazy, especially when I have to do the dancing bit to the Namah Shivaya chant.. biggrin )

Spring, spring magic everywhere! Sigh . . . photographic tributes of floral flourishing will hopefully be posted soon. So. Many. Colors! eeek Yay!

The Ninja Tune show did indeed rock the house. Sadly, I didn't make it out for the DJ Shadow show. Too many other things already happening. Sigh . . . Did your know that the b-complex is no longer? Sad. I saw many fine shows in that space. Lalalalala . . . did you say something about getting easily distracted? Ooooo . . . Look! Something shiney . . . *wanders off in a wonder induced haze* . . . lalalala
