joyrider

i just slept 11 hrs. my cat woke me up: she climbed on my head to reach the window. i opened it for her, and saw the sun dipping low in the west. i got up and went downstairs, out on the deck, to soak up some solar power and warm my bones.

now it's time for laundry, eating, coffee, email. later my brother and i are driving out to green river to watch the harmonic convergence. it might be chemically-enhanced; i haven't decided.

i love this saturday so far.

EDIT:

saw the convergence through clouds and windowpane. tonight i saw an imp dart across the highway in the rain on the way home from work. um.
