so my friend tyler has taken it upon himself to show me the good stuff in portland. yesterday, that involved a trip to movie madness to see the latex mugwamp.

first off, the mugwamp is big. he is dusty. entropy has been real hard on him - latex is rotting, paint peeling. so i'm looking up at him, and he's looking down at me, and it occurs to me why cronenberg must've omitted the scene from the book where the mugwamp is on that poor bastard's back and just fucking the bejeezus out of him: it couldn't do it. it'd break. so much for mugwamp jism.

portland is a weird "pretty on the outside, dirty on the inside" place. i could get used to this.
