what a fucking beautiful night. it froze and i ate some acid. i spent the evening on the roof, watching the stars wheeling overhead. dead leaves dropped from the trees. they floated down in front of me: rice paper origami backlit by the grey clouds. my cat came out there with me, and sharpened her claws on shingles. washboard symphony!

it is good to get completely out sometimes.

Yeah, tonight has been a nice ass night too, unusually warm. I must say, the upside of autumn around here is that there are some bitchin sunsets, that turn the entire ambient glow of things to an eerie reddish.

p.s. The Oliver Parker version of Othello is what has started me on Kenneth Brannagh's movies, he plays as good a Iago as you could want on screen.
