what a manic 3 days...good god.
the sg party was noisy and chaotic and fun. like maxx said, pixels do not do the girls justice. so beautiful! the bands were fun - i really liked the epoxies, especially. roxy has incredible stage presence and is a total fox. i ended up pretty close to the front - a lot of the members i'd met the night before had shown up early and grouped a bunch of tables together. i met an old board member, anti, who was hanging around outside dante's. he had come up from eureka and had no place to stay, so he ended up with me. cool kid.
piningshaft, anti, me, and my friend nick ended up at donkey's hotel room for an afterparty right as he was shooing everyone out (noise complaints). we regrouped at my place and continued on until six a.m. i got to meet lane, tryptaminefirefly, azura, dreammaker, a really funny guy (i am bad with names and handles, apparently), digdug, maxx, and on and on...it was fanfuckingtastic!
dia/marla/suiciety, i'm so sorry i didn't get to say goodbye on friday night. i would've stuck around, but i was already commited elsewhere. i love your tribe...can i be a junior member?
saturday is going to be manic too. due to money (it is always money, isn't it?), i'm moving to colorado for about a year. after i regroup, i'm heading back to portlandia. i love this place! i will miss you guys: swingkitten, drewish, eris, and the rest... take care, and thanks for making this such a good summer. love love love!
