my friends tyler, jen, and i went and had beer with mark eitzel (http://www.matadorrecords.com/mark_eitzel/). i am not going to get into the specifics of how this came about, but i'm glad it did. we holed up in the alibi and then the tiny bubbles room on lombard. we talked about nothing. it was fucking great.

i'm pretty sure that i can't really do the night justice in writing. it was just incredible to be with someone so talented and so earnest and so full of shit just like all the rest of us.
