Cathode Rays are underrated for pure their elicitation of childlike exuberance, much like various microbial specimen slides. One time (not in band camp), I found a green small insect who was dead. I had a microscope. I plopped the little man down and examined him. ACK! Don't do it. It's terrifying. He was all eyeballs and green snot blood and I would think of him whenever I'd drink Chartreuse, he was some sort of lost God from an equally lost dream I once had.
