New Year's was loads-o-fun and worth feeling like shit today. I am definitively a lightweight. Thanks to everyone involved in orchestrating/hosting for a great party.

Tomorrow I'm off to the mountains to ski for the first time. I will show those trees what fear is. Oh, yes, I will.

I'm toying with the idea of making New Year's resolutions, but it occurs to me that the last year has been strange enough that I wouldn't presume to make guesses for the new one. Definitely the most surreal year of my life so far. It makes me wonder what's ahead for the new one. Also, if any assumptions can be made based on the last year, I will be completely unrecognizable by this time next year.

The roomie had a boy over and I was way too bored to just hang out in my room, so I've been tromping around the apartment making everyone uncomfortable for the last few hours. In my current asshole-ish mood, this is kinda funny.

I need to see if Janet got any good photos on Friday that I can use as a userpic for SG. I really need to do something about my current one, but I don't own a digital camera.
