Band interviews are an art form. Here you have this group of people with completely different intentions than you. They want to be cool and abstruse. You want them to be clear and informative. Unless you're a browned-out interviewer from Vice sent to do Bloc Party as a joke on them, you actually want the content of the piece to be interesting. This is opposed to their outgoing rock n'roll personalities being highlighted with bad grammar, incomplete sentences, and totally incoherant answers. Don't even get me started on band sensitivity about photos. ("Uh no guys, you can't use a photo of your feet).
