My Handshake Brings All The Boys To The Yard
That picture is a representation of the handshake that cemented my promotion to supervisor. I passed the test and, after 3 days of sweating it out, was finally told last night. This is huge. It's the difference between getting a second job and... well... not getting a second job. It more than doubles my income, which means school, a new phone, my first real vacation. This year is going to rule... fo sheezy.
And to top it all off, it's payday. I think I'm going to the strip club to celebrate since my plans for Saturday are now limited to moving all my stuff to my new pad... out of the basement... in a real bed (eventually)... away from a house full of people who are really getting on my last nerve.
Not to mention I may or may not have a pet project or two in the works... I really wonder what lit the fire under my ass.
That's it. I'm still unable to read more than 4 lines of comments, so I'll be able to get back to y'all later this weekend when I mooch a free meal and internetz from my friend Brian for helping him move.
