Ok, so the weekend is finally here and all I can think about is how I wish it was next weekend. Though, I must admit, next weekend will rule just so much harder than any other weekend, it doesn't seem fair to compare it at all. In any case, I'm just glad the week is over. Seriously, it felt like someone crammed 8 days in between monday and today.
Tomorrow I get to play on-call taxi driver... Which basically means that where ever my dad's girlfriend's kids need (read: want) to go, I have to drive them. And it's not like anyone in this fucking house can make a plan either. One has to be somewhere at 4 but may want to go someplace before, the other will be getting home between, I don't know, 10 am and 8 pm, so I have to be around just in case. Like I don't want to maybe catch a movie or go out... Just because I do stuff alone doesn't mean I would rather play driver instead. Which brings me to...
Sunday I have my plate full as well. I have to put on my Sunday best and suck up to some battle-ax landlady who has reservations about me staying in where I'm trying to move to because I'm young and a young kid egged her house or kicked a ball onto her yard or woke her up some early summer morning with baseball cards in his bike spokes or some shit. I really don't feel like moving from a place where I have to walk on eggshells to a place where the situation will end up being the same. Crotchety old mo-fo's. I then get to spend the rest of the day with Janet. She'll probably buy me dinner, so that's cool...
I am still 98% soda free and not really minding it. However, after this week, I could really use a beer.
