Work sucked rancid ass tonight. They sent most of the day shift home which left my shift trashed from the start. We spent the better part of the night just playing catch-up. It didn't help that we had two people take today off either. Oh well, life goes on.
I think I'm going to apply to be a supervisor at work. Yes they get shit on a whole lot worse than I do, but they make like 450 a week for less than 30 hours of work, there's very little heavy lifting (which if I keep doing now, I'm certain I'll end up hurt sooner or later) and since I spend most of my time getting shit on at home (like today, I got a 30 minute lecture about how I eat everything in the house despite the fact that I've been buying my own food lately, all because I had a plate of spaghetti with 3 meatballs) it won't really be any big downer to get reamed daily at work too. And if I did that coupled with a day job (which will be much more realistic since I won't be exhausted as hell all the time), I'll have enough saved for school in no time... not to mention I'll get out of this dump. But just in case, I won't get too attached to the idea of "what if's".
I was going to wait til tomorrow to make a Josh's iPod update, but I'm just so giddy, I can't wait. It seems patience pays off because for the same 400 or so bucks when I started saving, iPods have gone from 40 gig, to 60 gig, to 60 gig color, to 60 gig video with upgraded batteries and thinner design. I still don't know what I want for my engraving...
That's it. I have to get up early so I can get yelled at some more for leaving my bathrobe hanging on the hook on the bathroom door yesterday (I'm only half kidding).
