So, I'm pretty pissed and stressed out right now. My girlfriend and I are moving to our own house at the end of the month. A couple months ago, she talked to our current landlord who is also a family friend of hers. He told her he would use our deposit for our last month of rent so we would have no out of pocket expense. He came yesterday to check the house to make sure everything was good and that we would indeed get our deposit. He said everything was good and then asked for our rent. When we tried to explain that he had said he'd use our deposit he said it was in our rental agreement that we couldn't do that and that he was just going to give us the deposit from the other couple who will be moving in when we leave. So now we have to give him $585 for our half of the rent which we don't even have because we spent most of our money on our trip to San Franscisco for Warped tour and bought some stuff at Ikea for our new place....

So now we're pretty much screwed and trying to sell stuff to get the money so we don't have to borrow.
