Well, my weekend went better than I expected it to.
Friday brightened up a little when I went to a local grocery store to pick up supplies for dinner and while standing in line waiting to be checked out I slipped in underneath a little old woman who was falling after she reached down to pick up an item she had dropped. There is no doubt in my mind that if she had fallen all the way she would have landed face first and been in a lot of pain. I think she realized this too by the way she thanked me. She dropped the same item once more before leaving but I made sure to pick it up for her that time.
The show Saturday night went much better than expected. When Frost and I got there we were amazed to see a brand new lighting rig setting at our entryway to the ring, so now during everyones entrance the houselites go down and we can have colored lights and strobes and fog and that sort of thing. It's very cool, you'd almost think we were a professional show if you didn't know better, lol.
Speaking of our entrance, at the last show our bosses gave me a cow skull rigged with pyro for a small bang and some smoke. As it turned out it was a very small bang and smoke so this time they gave it to me after they armed it and told me they had upped the charges. Yay! I thought to myself, this thing is going to blow up in my hands and i'm going to get bone shards in my face. As it turned out all it did was bang really loud and spray little chunks of dead pyro all over me. I heard it looked pretty cool.
Also, as some of you may remember from the pictures I posted a couple of journals ago Frost has recently taken to breathing fire when we go out to the ring. This time, due to the houselites being out, the fire looked so fucking awesome. The showoff-y bastard, lol.
I worked three matches all of which turned out to be really very good despite the fact that one, they didn't go exactly as planned, and two, I was involved in them.
