Well, fuck.
Today I found out that it is very likely that the wrestling promotion I work for and love dearly will most likely be coming to an end very soon, that is if our last show doesn't already turn out to have been our last show ever.
Apparently the woman who owns it is serious about wanting to sell it and the guy looking to buy it is a whiney little bitch that until recently worked with us but decided to retire because he couldn't get things his way. I guess if he buys out the promotion he can finally be the heavyweight champ, too bad for him that he'll be the only guy there since no one I know will work for him.
So, if all this comes to pass that means that i'll have to go to work for another local promotion named IWF who are a bunch of backyarder scumbags and carneys. One of the guys who runs the place and does some of the booking is a total asshole who liked to try to abuse me when I first got into the buisness and i'd rather punch him in the face then have to say hello to him.
But, on the bright side of all that (if there is one), Promo, Frost, and I, are all going to go have a talk with the IWF this Saturday night and negotiate the terms of our service there. Apparently we will be given free reign with our characters, and our story lines, and we may actually get paid some real money for a change. Promo has told them that we three are a package deal, you get all of us or none. That man has showed me a great deal of respect today and I am greatful for that if nothing else.
And oh, yeah, I also found out that Promo, Frost, and I, are the boogeymen of the local independent circuit. Apparently we are used to scare new trainees when they need an example of people not to cross and to respect. I'm not sure what I did to be part of that but I like it.
