Today was a good day.

Lot's of free time spent in the pursuit of happiness, all of which turned out to be rather enjoyable.

My wife and I took our kids to the county fair tonight, it was great getting to watch them have fun there. I usually can't stand going there because of running into so many people I don't ever want to see again but tonight was different, tonight I ran into quite a few old friends that I rarely get to see. It was nice.

Friday is my sons B-Day, he'll be eight years old. Man, that's weird, i've got an eight year old son and a five year old daughter. Not bad for a guy who never expected to live this long, huh?

We're having the kids official, big ol', B-Day bash on Saturday, plus i've got a wrestling show that night. It should prove to be an interesting day/night.

Speaking of the county fair and my wrestling show as I have, i'm thinking that since the show is going to be on the Saturday night of the fair that we'll probably play to a packed house of around half a dozen people or so. Oh well, at least i'll get some ring time out of it.

Tomorrow is field trip day for my daughter. I get to go and lead her around the fairgrounds as all her little classmates try to figure out what Sarah's daddy is.

I suppose I should really go and try to do some of that, what do people call it, "sleeping"? Yeah, that. Maybe it'll work tonight.
