Oh man, is it ever time for a change.
Somethin's bugging me. Nothing serious, just saying.
You see, a couple of days ago when I took my kids to school for registration, my son met one of his fellow classmates to be whereupon the young lad proceeded to blurt out, "Wow, your dad sure is fat!" Then followed it by saying, "How did he get that way?", before his extremely embarassed mother could shut him up. I, being myself, just kind of snickered about it and forgot it. That is until we got home and I started talking to Greggory (my son) about it. I said to him, "Greggory, son, did you hear what that little boy said about me earlier?" And he said, "Yeah, I was so embarassed." So I replied, "Why buddy, I wasn't, I thought it was funny" (which I honestly did), And my son didn't have an answer for me.
Well, it's gotten me to thinking. I may hate myself physically but i've grown use to it and the stigma that is associated with being obese. My kids are another story, they're at that age where kids are so God damn cruel. I know they love me and don't judge me but how I look is going to affect them and their relationships with other kids. No one elses mommy or daddy looks like thiers, ya dig?
I've got to make a change. A change in all things. It's time to be something I can like again. It's time to try and be something better again. If I couldn't do it for myself, maybe I can do it for my kids.
God, I hope the wrestling class happens. If it does, i'm going to beat the fat right of my ass.

kids can be little shit heads. i had one come up to me after my first miscarriage and ask me if i had a baby in my belly or if it was just chub. i let it go but broke down into tears once i got back to my car. the worst part about it was his mom , just stood there and then started to giggle. i wanted to slap the shit out of her.

Hey, man, i'm behind you 100% on this. If you want any kind of advice on diet or exercise or conditioning or someone to yell at when it gets frustrating, give me a holler.
