Update time.
Fuck me, am i ever sore and tired. I'm also as hoarse as a chain smoking frog, that'll happen i guess when you spend your Saturday night shouting at the cousin daters.
The show last night went off pretty good i think. We drew a pretty decent crowd too, not as big as the last show we had there but only off by about 20 or 30 people. Most importantly they were a good crowd, loud and live.
I worked three seperate matches, the first and second were as a manager and the third was as a special referee.
I took a few shots here and there and gave a few too. I also got to get on the mic and cut some promo stuff to the crowd and my fellow workers, i love rockin' the mic.
Probably the high point of my night was my interaction with the crowd, they fucking hated me and i love 'em for it! All i heard all night was "hey fat boy, you suck!" and "hey, you got pretty hair!" and shit like that. Yeah, i know they're not very inventive but they are at a wrestling show so how quick could they be, right?
The low point of the night last night was after i turned on my partner and was crouching over his prone body and punching him in the face. I seemed to have actually punched him a few times. He told me about it after we got back, he said "man, you tatered (real punch) me in the temple one time and i almost passed out." Damn, i felt/feel really bad about that. I'm going to have to try harder to watch that stuff because in all honesty i thought i was holding back when i hit him and i don't want to hurt anyone, especially him.
The show went on long, about 3 and a half hours and the venue was 10 or so degrees hotter than Hell. I never even got to eat after the show because my ride was late for work.
All of that for 10 bucks, thus proving what kind of idiot you have to be to be a pro wrestler.
