First things first, rather than having to go to each and every one of your journals and thanking you all individually (i'm a lazy bastard,sue me) i would like to take this time to thank all of you who have wished me well concerning my condition.
And on the subject of my condition i thought i should update you all and tell you a bit of good news. I got called in to take the sleep study last night.
I guess they must have thought i was going to die or something so they pushed me up, anyway, i went down there last night and did it.
I got there at a little before 9 pm and they hooked me up to all the little wires and machines and got me into bed by about 11 pm. About 3 or 4 hours later someone came in and put the little mask on me and i used it for the rest of the night.
When the guy came in this morning to unhook me i asked how i did and he said just fine and that someone from my doctors office would be contacting me very soon to give me the home mask.
I got up took the coldest shower i have ever had in my life and as soon as the family arrived i went home. I must say that while i didn't get up feeling fully refreshed and ready to conquer the world i have noticed at least one small change, i didn't once get tired on the drive home. That was cool.
So, i guess i'm on the road to being cured. Breathing, sleeping, dreaming, losing weight, i can now have all of these things in a possible future again. It's odd to think i may actually not have to be "Zombie Josh" anymore.
I can not wait.
