So on Nov 15th I'm going to see Eagles of Death Metal.
I put together a new band. I retired from trying to make music long ago, but I guess I'm coming out of retirement. The guys I met with all seem to have the same ideas in mind as I do, so that's nice. It should make the whole process a lot easier. I think I'm going to start laying down all the guitar and bass stuff for our songs and some scratch vocals. I would just need to record the drummer and we'd have some sample stuff to throw out there quick. I could probably have 2 songs done like that in like 2 weeks from now. We all agreed to have 2 things written come next Sunday. That means I need two skeletons for music (guitar, bass, ambience, and audio) and there will be two completely complete sets of lyrics for me to work with then. We'll see how it goes.
Also I'm working on recomposing a song I want to do my own recording of. That should take me a few weeks because I want it to be big and elaborate. It's coming along though. So that will hopefully be around in a month.
My birthday went by smoothly and uneventfully. That's how I wanted it. Most years I get all sorts of plans and it's really mediocre, so I decided to keep it low key. I saw the people I like to see and did what I wanted to do. Nothing over the top. I was pleased with it. More so than the past 5 or so.
I found a new job and now I'm doing all the silly things you have to do to get a job so we'll see how that goes.
That's about all I got right now.
Oh, and I stopped writing comics a month or so ago. Maybe two months, I don't know.
