So it goes like this.

There's this band......

PIEBALD!

I don't know if you know them, but I do. Not personally, just of them. Well they are cool. I like them. They are from my town too. But of course they are, because I am from Boston and Boston makes the best music. Well this summer (the end o0f the summer mind you) they announced that they are breaking up. Peacefully.

I was totally ok with it. Their best work was behind them, I never go to see them live, and I love their music, but only listen to 1 song off the new cd. I listen to Piebald Circa '99 and '03 more than anything else. I have their DVD and it's fun.

I'm ok with their breakup because my fanhood didn't really require them being together.

Well.....

Since it is a peaceful breakup they announced they'd be doing final shows. SXo there's a NY and a final show in their hometown of Boston.

Today I bought two tickets.

It will be my first (and duh, last) Piebald show.

I'm excited. It should be cool.




While speaking on the subject of music I must discuss that the score to Robocop 2 is one of the best movie scores ever. It's simple. Throughout the entire score their is a choir of women, with the highest possible voices, singing "Robocooooooop....Robocooooooop." How could a score get better than that?
