3 years ago today (8/16) a girlfriend of mine died after being hit by a car. (she was on foot, not in another car)

That made today kind of suck.

I'm the butt of every joke at work. It's not bad. I don't mind it at all. I joke about myself a lot too. I think it's because teasing me can be playful, but with many of the other people anything worth teasing them about would not be as light hearted. I went in today and told them so long as it doesn't happen each year on 8/16 I'll be great with it.

People were really great. Supportive. I explained why and people were totally cool today.

I know that means I'm getting it twice as bad tomorrow to make up for it.

Tday was great though. I was naturally kind of bummed, but lots of things made today great otherwise. Tomorrow I'm sitting in on an SG photoshoot. that's cool. I've kinda got a thing going on with a co-worker. On I thought something might not be possible with. So that's cool.

I'm watchign The Last Temptation of the Christ right now. first viewing. Crazy movie. Jesus is nuts and badass in this thing.

After a sad streak where shit wasn't going my way, things are turning around. I'm not full on happy again yet, but I'm getting there. I'm close. And knowing that gets me closer.
