It really does help to get perspective from another side of the issue, and for that I really appriciate your comment.

I do understand that men will be men, I mean fuck, I do it too...but I watch what I say, and how I say it. The other persons' feelings are always first on my mind. We did talk, and he did apologize. I feel better, but just because he said he was sorry does not mean I will pretend like nothing happened. He hurt me, and it's going to take some work to get back where we were. but that's okay, because at least we talked, and he admitted his fault rather than denying it.
