i went to visit my grandfather today at the cemetary on taylor ave. it was the first time i been back there since the day of his funeral. i wanted to visit him today on st.patricks day because it was his faviorte holiday. he was head of the st. patricks day parade downtown for the last 16-17 years. went down and toke a shot of "O'Donavan's" and sang "danny boy". i miss him alot. hes the only one who would debate with me about politics and give me advise i can use. he also died 3 days after st. patricks day, on the 20th. even though he was really sick, he still made it to the parade. which tells me one thing, im going to be just as hard headed as he was. its in the irish blood.
