Problem solved.
Moving the machines onto the switch fixed it, so the hub is to blame. I'll have to do some more analysis to see whether it was simply overloaded and performing poorly, or if I need to replace it. Phwew. Now that I'm 2 days behind on everything else, it's time to get crackin'.
Oh, and my prof. for managerial accounting last term messed up, and I received an F for the class instead of a W for withdrawing... but she's going to fix it, and apologized profusely, so yay.
Now if only these two telecom companies would get back to me on a quote, I'd be a happy camper.
