I really wanted to go to Vancouver, BC, this week for the lan party... it's a shame we couldn't get a venue. 
Last year it was so much fun.. meeting 40ish people that I'd only known online, 5 straight days of gaming, drinking, partying, just plain having fun. I slept less than 4 hours each night, and on a concrete floor at that... with only a hoody for a pillow. It didn't matter, I was having too much fun to care.
