I've had an "end of the world" dream for about 4 days in a row now. At first, they were very Resident Evil-esque, yet minus zombie's. Maybe my dream just hadn't made it to that part yet.
Last night, it was more of a cross between Planetside and Star Wars. So maybe I'm just playing too many video games.
It was interesting, though... the city I was in sort of reminded me of San Francisco. Then, random floodwaters would come rushing down streets, and I had to jump on fire escapes to get away. I had a group of friends and companions that I kept losing due to this, and had to keep running around trying to follow/find them. Then there were some ninja's, with some weird sort-of delayed strike throwing stars? They would throw them, then they'd hover in the air a sec, going slowly back and forth, and then slam down towards the ground. Or a person, for that matter.
Towards the end of the dream, we had made it out of the city, and were heading to some strange pyramid type location. There were mountains around, vegetation... then we went inside, and were attacked by enemies. These were humanoid. We went back towards the entrance, and enemies in jeeps were trying to run us over. Then someone yelled to head for the trees! The salt was coming. The ground started to rumble and shake, I ran as fast as I could, nearly getting run over by a jeep, and leaped onto a tree and began climbing. Then, the nearby mountains exploded with an eruption of... yes, salt. The salt swarmed over the enemies and took them out.
I woke up, wrapped in my blankets like a cocoon. I must have been tossing and turning, because I don't wake up like that.
All said and done, I thought it was a cool dream.
