Painted nails in the shade of "punky purple," the deliciously kissable lip candy tasting like a lollipop, and the sweet aroma of a cup-cake fragrance, I'm ready for the weekend. The girl arrives tonight to play house this weekend and I can't wait! I didn't realize how much I missed that girl until this morning when I woke up alone with a heavy heart. Her plans to move here are jumping by leaps and bounds and it looks like it may be the end of July and she'll be all settled into her new home. Happy friggin' birthday to me.

This weekend is about working and playing. Responsibility is taking a back seat, and I'm letting the weekend wash over me. Cleansing my mind, heart, and hopefully by the time I cross over to the other side, I will have a better sense of understanding. Work is emanate over the next couple of days thanks to the new Nazi who has power in my office, but my off time is going to be preciously that...off time.

It is you that I crave...when my eyes close at night, the tides of your being wash over me...what was never to be has transformed into the one thing I can't do without.
