It's Sunday, and I'm lost in the 'word of god.' The gal who normally works the church shift is out again this week. I most definitely don't mind working for her in these circumstances, but I will selfishly add, I miss having a least part of a weekend.

Yesterday was basketball practice. I'm working with the high school girls again on their season. In the state of Indiana, you are NEVER far from the magic of the hardwood. It's intoxicating to be around that kind of energy, and to be reminded of your skills. Those girls have helped this weary soul much more than I have helped them with their shooting percentage. It's nice to play a role of a hard-ass too, that one is a new one for me. I'm adapting well, though. *wink*

Today my day is about cleaning and then heading out on the boat. I'm spending the morning here at "church" prayingggg for no rain. I need to feel the wind carry me up to the trees. I'd like to watch life from up there for a while. Stepping out of the picture and enjoying the art that surrounds us.
