Yesterday, leaving work...I walked outside and instantly realized just how much I had missed the sunshine. With working so much, I don't get to emerge from my holds until well after the sun has called it a day. One day of feeling this, is two days too many. Even though it was just Friday since I had been on a stroll to the park, it felt like a distant memory. But when I walked outside, the last thing I wanted to do was to go back in. So, I went for a little drive. Took my time cruising about town, lazily took some mail to the post office mail box...went the "long way" home, as "long-way" as you can in a "small town."

This weekend, aside from work, I did get a taste of life outside of this little padded room. The monkey puppets came over Saturday night to watch Greg Biffle win the Darlington race, which was very cool. After a couple of beers, I was down for the count though. Could it be that I'm actually unable to hold my alcohol anymore? I intend to test this theory, until I prove it to be untrue.

I'm thinking a little too much lately. I'm an Olympic athlete at over-thinking. I am looking into the future and exercising my broken wand of prediction, and can't seem to find the answers that I'm looking for. It's funny how life's choices are clear as day, after the fact. For now, I will work on discarding the bad and gripping onto the good, and trying to work through the hold-a-grudge-forever accessory that comes standard on this model.
