Today the weight of the world seemed to overwhelm me, and upon breaking my favorite scrunchie, I collapsed. The proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back," so to speak, proving once again that I am merely human, who'd-a thunk it? So, I promptly grabbed a sweatshirt and headed out for a nice-long-brain-clearing walk.
It was a 50 degree, sunshiny, beautiful, spring-like day in this grab-bag weather state...so, many people were taking advantage of our pre-spring tease. The idea of solitude was short-lived, but the perspective was nice.
But...BUT...my eyes have fireworks in them...fireworks from Daytona because of the Bud-Shootout. *sigh* My heart races, anxiety sets in, I'm short of breath...the works. All for this kick off to the countdown to the Great American Race. Say what you want about NASCAR, but no other sport makes my competitive heart race like this one.

NASCAR, Pedro already in camp, the weather much nicer. I really am liking this action.

Ham Dinger:
Place ham paties on a cooking sheet with whole pinapple rings on top. Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes, then place cheese slieces on top of each, and let melt. Serve on a bun with a side of your choise. Great for watching sporting events on tv.
