I did something this week, I have NEVER done...got myself a sweet bottle of White Zinfindel out of the frig and a pretty wine glass, and in the period of an afternoon, I drank the whole thing. Chilling back, reading, then drunk and dialing everyone on my speed dial list. (still not sure what the pizza people thought of my drunk phone call). But that was my afternoon. I didn't feel guilty about not going to work out, I didn't feel bad about being irresponsible, and I didn't worry about someone crashing the hard drive with all my music on it at work again. Just chilled. That's when the thought was born...why on earth has drinking gotten such a bad wrap? I'm not a casual drinker, I'm not a daily drinker, I'm a mood drinker. AND by the way, a HAPPY drunk...

However, sobriety rolled in as did a whole big bunch of reality. Minor surgery this week, on top of yet another physical altercation between myself and someone whose heart was broken by my "carelessness." Always appreciate your city's finest, never know when they will come to your rescue. Left me asking the question, how on earth did this happen again?

Anyway, I'm taking the weekend to heal myself, and put in some more OT at work to make sure that next week (hell week, due to political advertising) goes off without a hitch...Then Saturday night, it's game one of the world series...(i curse the my morning counterpart who brought baseball into my life), and then NASCAR Sunday...(way to go Ryan Newman...*blah!*), and watching Junior win at Martinsville.
