The sun has set on another day, another day closer to vacation. I can't wait to escape this town and it's drama for a few days. I haven't had more than one day off for almost a year, so I'm LOOONG overdue. My boss said to me today that I was a fixture at the station, he wasn't sure how things would go without me. Thankfully, that's NOT my problem come Saturday. I just need a break.

This evening, I found myself at kick boxing class again. My friend Gayle came with me, who is the world's best athletic motivator. So, I'm feeling the effects from a killer workout and Josie is a happy camper. It surely wouldn't have anything to do with girl-time playing that commenced after our work out

Lots to be thankful for today, and when life seems dark and cloudy, I'm thankful for the ones who shine a bright light and remind me of the reasons it's great to be alive.
