Life is an interesting array of emotions today. Too many distractions on my plate to concentrate on the things that bring me pure happiness.

The TV is fighting the radio.

Wallowing in self pity lasts only during the commercial breaks. Every picture is a visual reminder of the happiness we should find in the simple pleasures in life.

Every word, every song reminds me the water only fills half the glass. Shines a spotlight on what it is that I want. What I can never have.

Conflict and destruction...with a trail of broken dreams along the way. I will work to not hurt but protect, myself for once.
